We believe in helping others by empowering them through financial aid, mentorship, business collaboration, and community building. There are so many people who need a helping hand in our own backyard and abroad. Because of this, each month a portion of every purchase is invested in individuals and organizations who demonstrate financial need and align with our values of mentorship, entreprenureship and community building.

Check out the stories below of those who have been helped by purchasers like you!

Jacky - The Jacky Box

In January our customers supported The Jacky Box, which is a subscription box for teen girls with cool products made by teens, for teens. Glow & Behold is honoured to have our bobba keychains featured in this month’s box!

As recognition for Jaquelynn’s initative as a young entrepreneur we purchased an online course of her choice to help her learn to grow and expand her business by connecting to customers through social media.

Keep up the great work, Jacky!

Because of so many varying needs, Kelowna Gospel Mission offers a wide range of services daily. No matter where someone is at, they can make a move towards changing their lives. Through long-term relationships of trust, our community members gradually achieve stability and momentum towards positive change.

They have an emergency shelter accessible 365 days/year, have trained case workers with a passion to provide concrete help, operate a thrift store that creates community and provides resources to people rebuilding their lives, and offer a state of the art dental clinic for anyone with or without coverage.

Kelowna - December, 2021

Chilliwack - November, 2021

We donated to City Life Church, who is actively supporting as many people as they can who are affected by recent flooding disasters. They are able to shelter 25-30 individuals nightly, feed up to 250 refugees and volunteers daily within their building and share food with other organizations helping in the community. All donations made help individuals with their greatest needs and necessities.

Thank you City Life for your outstanding service in the community and to all our patrons who supported our business this month.

To donate directly to City Life and further support those affected by flooding you can etransfer and caption “flood relief” in the message.

Philippines - October, 2021

Liberty is diligent 60-year-old entrepreneur with three children. She works very hard at her buy-and-sell ready-to-wear clothing business.

We were able to complete her loan of $200 to buy additional items to sell like shirts, pants, etc. and other supplies needed in her business.

Liberty has been in this business for 4 years. In the future, she would like to save enough to provide a secure future for her family.
